THE PREACHER'S SON by Carl Weber is an entertaining novel that tells the story of when a pillar of the community runs for local office on a family values platform and is undone by those in his household.

Bishop T. K. Wilson is one of the most revered African American preachers in Queens, New York. He has built on his father-in-law's success and increased church membership. With the support of his wife, Charlene, he has launched a campaign for borough president. Now that he aspires to a career in politics, his children are challenging his family-values platform.

His son, Dante, a recent graduate of St. John's University, is the director of church activities. Although he wants to become an attorney, his parents feel his destiny is to assume his father's position. Dante has his own plans and is interested in a former stripper from the projects. Donna, on the other hand, is not quite the princess she portrays herself to be. She has been secretly seeing her father's protege. That relationship will challenge longstanding friendships and force her to make some life-altering choices. It is during Dante's wedding that the Wilson family has to bare some ugly past truths in order to truly value one another.

Carl Weber graduated from Virginia State University with a B.S. in accounting and has an MBA in marketing from the University of Virginia. He is the bestselling author of Lookin' for Luv, Baby Momma Drama, A Dollar and a Dream, and Player Haters. He lives in Long Island, New York with his family.
